Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking a licensed dispensing optician to join our in-house optical team in California. You will assist customers, take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure products meet our high standards.

You will explain prescriptions, educate customers on options, and collaborate with the team to implement best practices across stores. A strong focus on service, accuracy, and learning is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license.
• ABO-certified optician (for non-licensing states)

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet all of their eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear, and execute these details with flawless accuracy.
• Check that our finished eyewear meets our optical standards, as well as customer requirements and requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with your team to form best practices for sales and customer service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription needs, face fit, style, and lifestyle.
