Warby Parker is seeking a licensed dispensing optician to join our in-house optical team. You will fit eyewear, take measurements, explain prescription terminology, and ensure our eyewear meets both optical standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in applicable states
• ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states
• Clear, effective communicator who can explain prescription terminology to customers
• Detail-oriented with a customer-first mindset

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
• Collaborate with team to deliver exceptional service
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, and lifestyle
• Contribute to best-practices for sales and customer service
• Represent the brand and educate customers about Warby Parker's values and mission
