Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a diligent Central Dispatch Leader in New York to connect customers, drivers, and plants and ensure timely, accurate concrete deliveries. You’ll excel at multitasking, problem solving, and clear communication in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

You’ll monitor orders, coordinate with plant managers and sales teams, uphold safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement while delivering outstanding customer service across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with customers, drivers, and plants in a busy dispatch setting.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and communications; ensure customer needs are met with urgency and care.
• Coordinate orders, schedules, and priorities with plant managers, drivers, and sales teams.
• Lead by example in professionalism, teamwork, and service excellence.
• Monitor performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage inquiries, delivery or quality issues, and opportunities to exceed expectations.
• Foster collaboration with customers, suppliers, and SRM team members.
• Uphold safety regulations and company policies in daily operations.
• Participate in meetings and strategic planning to enhance processes.
