Job summary

United Service Organizations, Inc. is seeking a Center Operations Specialist to manage daily center operations, ensure safety and a welcoming environment for service members and families, and deliver engaging programs and events.

You will work with volunteers, manage inventory and budgets, and collaborate with stakeholders to support mission delivery. Strong customer service, problem solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years work experience in event management, marketing, retail, customer service, recreation facility or related role.
• Relevant experience in a non-profit, military, multicultural and/or global organization preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day Center operational procedures, ensuring a cost-effective, safe, welcoming and clean environment.
• Engage with Center visitors and explain amenities, tours, classes, programs and services; troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with budgeting, tracking inventory, and reporting as required.
• Coordinate volunteer participation and maintain volunteer reports.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for local operations and Center activities.
