Job summary

KidStrong is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Knoxville to partner with the GM on culture, learning, and driving key business results. You’ll oversee center operations, customer relationships, and coaching programs for children from walking age to about 11 years, ensuring safety and high-quality programming.

The role includes coaching, schedule management, event sales, and performance tracking in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background with experience coaching kids 15 months to 11 years, with a passion for children.
• Achieve Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification team.
• Complete required LearnUpon training.
• OT/PT background a plus, not required.
• Prior management experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient with Google and Microsoft platforms.
• Familiar with ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, and ADP is a plus.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Understand KPIs and financials to guide decisions at the center.
• Build relationships with families to deliver exceptional service.
• Oversee center initiatives like maintenance, training, and branding.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly center cleaning and upkeep.
• Manage schedule with four weekdays and one weekend shift.
• Sell and schedule events to maximize profitability.
• Lead and mentor staff with LearnUpon, coordinating onboarding.
