Job summary

KidStrong in Franklin, TN is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in fostering a learning culture and driving key business results. This role focuses on coaching, customer experience, and staff leadership within our kid-focused center.

Responsibilities cover center operations, sales leadership, and coaching program development, including scheduling, events, and staff development using LearnUpon.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background with experience coaching kids ages 15 months - 11 years.
• Achieve Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification team.
• Complete training through LearnUpon as required by HQ Training and Certification team.
• CPR certified.
• Prior pediatric OT/PT experience is a plus, but not required.
• Previous management experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Understand the center’s KPIs and financials to guide decisions.
• Build relationships with families to deliver exceptional service.
• Oversee center initiatives including maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and upkeep of the center.
• Typical schedule includes 4 weekdays and 1 weekend shift with hours based on center needs.
• Communicate coach schedule changes via Slack and Email.
• Sell and schedule events such as camps and parties to boost profitability.
• Lead staff development using LearnUpon platform.
