Job summary

KidStrong is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Knoxville center. You will partner with the General Manager to foster learning culture for coaches and families and deliver key business results, including sales performance and reducing attrition.

You will lead center operations, oversee coaching quality, and manage staff development using LearnUpon and other tools. This role emphasizes teamwork, energy, and outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background with experience working with kids 15 months - 11 years.
• Achieve Coach Certification through HQ Training.
• Complete LearnUpon training as required by HQ Training and Certification.
• Pediatric OT/PT experience is a plus, but not required.
• Previous management experience is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Google and Microsoft platforms.
• Experience with systems like ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, ADP is preferred.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Understand the center’s KPIs and financials to guide decisions.
• Build relationships with KidStrong families and ensure exceptional service.
• Oversee center initiatives such as maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly center cleaning and upkeep.
• Work a 4 weekday + 1 weekend shift schedule based on center needs.
• Sell and schedule events like camps and parties to boost profitability.
• Coach students with a curriculum focusing on Brain, Physical, and Character development.
