Job summary

KidStrong is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead center operations, coaching, and sales initiatives. You will work with the General Manager to foster a learning culture for coaches and families, drive sales, and reduce member attrition.

The role focuses on delivering an exceptional experience for kids and families, with responsibilities spanning KPIs, events, staff development, and customer service. This is a hands-on leadership position at a KidStrong center.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background with experience working with or coaching kids ages 15 months - 11 years old; passion for working with children is non-negotiable.
• Achieve Coach Certification through the HQ Training and Certification team.
• Complete training through LearnUpon as required by HQ Training and Certification team.
• Pediatric OT/PT experience is a plus, but not required.
• Previous management experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Google and Microsoft platforms.
• Experience with ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, and ADP is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
• CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Understand the center’s key KPIs and financials to make informed decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with KidStrong families for exceptional service.
• Oversee center initiatives such as maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance of the center.
• Manage schedule with 4 weekdays and 1 weekend shift; adjust hours as needed.
• Communicate coach schedule changes via scheduling platforms.
• Sell and schedule events like camps and parties to drive profitability.
• Maintain lead management and conduct call drives to new/existing leads.
• Finalize sales and bookings from online self-sign-up flow.
• Source and attend local events to increase brand awareness and leads.
