Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. You will collect data, implement ABA protocols, and support families in a collaborative setting.

Applicants must have RBT certification or commit to a 40-hour training and pass the competency within 45 days. A high school diploma, reliable transportation, and willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid are required, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs and 18+ years of age.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain RBT certification or be ready to complete training and pass competency within 45 days.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license/insurance may be required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 and group ABA therapy in client settings.
• Follow skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
• Record data on client behavior and progress.
• Assist with parent/caregiver training and communication.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
• Support BCBA/BC in material prep and assessments.
