Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking exceptional behavior technicians to provide 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. The role requires RBT certification or progression to completion of a 40-hour training and competency exam within 45 days, with duties focused on building language, social, and school readiness skills for children on the autism spectrum.

The position is center-based, full-time and hourly, with a pay range of $18–$24 per hour, negotiable by experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification or be willing to complete a 40 hour training and sit for the competency exam within 45 days of employment.
• Willingness to complete CPR and First Aid certification and TB test if not already done in the past year.
• Must be 18+ and have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Follow prescribed ABA therapy protocols under supervision of a BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment plans.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of sessions.
