Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking exceptional behavior technicians to provide ABA therapy in a 1:1 setting under BCBA supervision. Candidates may hold RBT certification or commit to a 40-hour course and the competency exam within 45 days of employment. The role focuses on language, communication, social and school readiness skills for children on the autism spectrum.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation and valid license/insurance where required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and assist children as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cultural competency.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain data on a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 and group ABA therapy under supervision.
• Follow individualized treatment plans and learn protocols from BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize client data.
• Assist with parent/caregiver training per treatment plan.
• Ensure timely documentation and safety standards are met.
• Communicate progress with parents as directed by supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized therapy environment.
• Aid in materials prep and skills acquisition activities.
