Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking exceptional behavior technicians to provide ABA therapy in 1:1 and group settings under BCBA supervision. Candidates must hold or be willing to complete the BACB RBT certification process within 45 days and pass the competency exam.

A background check, high school diploma, and reliable transportation are required. CPR/First Aid certification and TB testing may be needed; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/sit as required for interacting with children is

Qualifications

• Must hold or be willing to obtain RBT certification per BACB requirements.
• Background check may be required before employment.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid license/insurance are preferred.
• Physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings under supervision.
• Follow prescribed protocols for skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with parent training and caregiver coaching as directed.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and accurately.
• Communicate progress with families under BCBA/BC supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe therapy environment and report incidents.
• Assist with materials preparation for sessions.
