Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• RBT certification or willingness to complete 40-hour training and sit for the competency exam within 45 days.
• Background check participation required if offered employment.
• Must be 18 years or older and have reliable transportation.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification; TB test if not in past year.
• Must be physically able to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Professional in presentation and conduct with strong reliability.
• Must be patient and able to keep clients on task.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; tech-savvy for data recording.
• Demonstrates cultural competency and flexibility in interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed behavior protocols outlined in treatment plans built by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols.
• Ensure timely documentation following established procedures.
• Communicate progress with parents as directed by BCBA/BC.
• Report critical incidents and safety concerns; maintain safe, organized environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments.
