Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Yard Driver responsible for moving tractor trailers to and from loading docks and parking trailers in designated areas. The role requires local city driving, safe operations, and DOT compliance with procedures for fueling and securing equipment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid CDL A, 21+ years old, and a clean MVR. The position offers a 5-day work week with Sunday–Friday availability and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6-12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and hold CDL A.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Move trailers to/from loading docks and designated parking areas.
• Handle paperwork related to offsite maintenance/inspections.
• Ensure equipment and freight are secured at all times.
• Perform general housekeeping in tractor and loading dock areas.
