Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Yard Driver to move tractor trailers, park trailers, and perform safety checks in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will convey trailers to loading docks, ensure security of equipment, and complete paperwork for maintenance and inspections.

Ideal candidates have a CDL A, 21+ years old, a clean MVR, and a current DOT health card. On-site role with required overtime and adherence to safety policies. Training provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• CDL A required and valid license.
• 6-12 months tractor-trailer experience preferred.
• Must be able to work scheduled hours and overtime.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks including pre/post trip per DOT regulations.
• Move trailers to/from loading docks and designated parking areas safely.
• Handle paperwork related to offsite maintenance/inspections.
• Ensure tractors/trailers are secured at all times.
• Complete required daily paperwork and leave area orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
