Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Yard Driver to move tractor trailers to and from loading docks and parking areas. You will perform safety inspections, handle paperwork for maintenance and inspections, and ensure all equipment is secured and compliant with DOT regulations.

The role requires a valid CDL-A, a clean MVR, 21+ age, and willingness to work overtime as needed. This is a full-time position in Minnesota within a fast-paced food distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 6-12 months tractor trailer experience
• Valid CDL A
• Clean MVR for past 3 years
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure new DOT Health Card
• Ability to work overtime as required

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/trailer per DOT regulations
• Move trailers to/from loading docks and designated parking areas
• Handle and return paperwork for offsite maintenance/inspection
• Ensure tractors, trailers and freight are locked/secured at all times
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork and maintain clean work areas
