Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Yard Driver to move tractor trailers to and from loading docks and park trucks in designated areas. You will also haul units to offsite facilities while following DOT rules and company safety standards.

The role requires a valid CDL A, 21+ years old, and a clean MVR. The position emphasizes safety, accurate paperwork, and teamwork within the yard operations team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6-12 months of tractor trailer experience.
• Valid CDL A.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and report issues.
• Safely move trailers to/from loading docks and designated areas.
• Transport tractors/trailers to offsite maintenance or inspection facilities.
• Handle paperwork related to maintenance and inspections.
• Ensure equipment and cargo are secured at all times.
• Maintain general housekeeping in the tractor and loading dock areas.
• Complete necessary paperwork at shift end.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
