Performance Food Group is seeking a Yard Driver to safely move tractor trailers to and from loading docks, park trailers, and transport units to maintenance facilities. The role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, accurate paperwork, and professional interaction with coworkers and vendors.

Ideal candidates hold a CDL A, have 6–12 months of tractor trailer experience, and can pass pre-employment checks including drug testing and a road test.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–12 months of tractor trailer experience preferred.
• Valid CDL A license required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pre-employment drug test and road test required.
• Valid DOT health card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT rules.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Move trailers to/from loading docks and parking areas.
• Handle paperwork for offsite maintenance/inspections.
• Ensure equipment and freight are secured at all times.
• Perform housekeeping in the dock area and surrounding spaces.
• Sign out with end-of-shift responsibilities and paperwork.
