Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a Yard Driver to move tractor trailers to/from loading docks and park trailers in designated areas. The role requires attention to safety and DOT compliance. Scheduling is Sunday to Thursday starting at 5pm, with competitive pay and benefits from day one.

The position emphasizes teamwork, professional communication with customers and vendors, and adherence to safety standards while supporting the company’s food distribution operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 12+ months verifiable Tractor/Trailer commercial driving experience.
• Must have yard hostler/switcher experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Valid Class A driver's license.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements.
• Clean MVR past 3 years.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations.
• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.
• Tractor trailers will be moved around the facility, no city driving.
• Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
