Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Category Manager, Logistics Services within the Supply Chain Business Unit. This virtual role can be located anywhere in the United States and partners with internal clients to lead category strategies, sourcing, negotiations, and supplier performance.

Responsibilities include developing cost-saving strategies, governance and reporting, and ensuring service levels across transportation, fleet, couriers, and related logistics services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Professional certification (e.g. C.P.M., CPSM, CIRM, CPIM, etc.) preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Experience managing third-party spend within a large organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Note: Role focuses on category management, sourcing, negotiation, and supplier performance within logistics services.
