Nationwide is seeking a National Catastrophe (NATCAT) Field Claims Specialist to support Personal Lines. You’ll respond to major disasters nationwide, assess property damage, and guide policyholders through the claims process with empathy and professionalism.

You will travel to impacted areas (up to 80%, often on short notice) to perform on-site inspections, determine coverage, and manage the full claims lifecycle from reserving to documentation.

Competenze

• Three to five years of related property claims experience.
• Experience handling CAT catastrophe claims.
• Xactimate proficiency for estimates.
• On-site field inspections including roof inspections.

Mansioni

• Handle all assigned claims promptly with minimal oversight.
• Determine policy coverages and apply claims practices.
• Open/close/adjust reserves per policy procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of claims guidance, guidelines, and laws.
• Submit severe incident and other reports to management as needed.
• Collaborate with Special Investigations Unit and Subrogation.
• Provide timely customer updates and maintain high service standards.
