Nationwide is seeking a National Catastrophe (NATCAT) Field Claims Specialist II for Personal Lines. The role involves traveling to catastrophe zones, performing on-site damage assessments, and guiding policyholders through the claims process with empathy and expertise.

You will manage the full claims lifecycle, from openings to reservations and subrogation, while partnering with internal teams and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• State licensing where required. Obtain Xactimate Level 1 within 1 year and Level 2 within 2 years.
• Three to five years of related property claims experience or equivalent.
• Experience in catastrophe (CAT) environments and on-site in the field.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct on-site property inspections and damage assessments in catastrophe zones.
• Investigate and resolve moderate to complex property claims from start to finish.
• Determine policy coverage and prepare estimates using Xactimate.
• Own the full lifecycle of claims, including reserving, supplements, and documentation.
• Partner with internal teams (e.g., Special Investigations, Subrogation) as needed.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and provide timely resolutions.
• Provide proactive updates to customers throughout the claims process.
