Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel in Virginia is seeking a Security Ambassador to safeguard guests, team members and assets while delivering exemplary customer service. You will greet guests, verify IDs, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies in a fast-paced, high-energy casino environment.

The role requires maintaining safety, handling incidents, and coordinating with supervisors and security teams. A high school diploma is preferred, with 1–2 years in security or guest service and a valid VA license as

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
1–2 years security/guest service experience preferred.
Ability to obtain Virginia licensure as required.
Ability to work in an environment with alcohol and smoke.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a smile and a warm welcome.
Check IDs and enforce age and prohibited item rules.
Explain casino rules and code of conduct.
Interact with guests professionally; provide directions and respond to inquiries.
Assist with disputes, intoxicated individuals, and incidents.
Resolve complaints within authority or escalate to management.
Notify supervisors of unusual events or incidents.
Respond to medical or fire emergencies.
Operate the Security Dispatch Office and two-way radios.
Log visitors and vendors at entrances.
Monitor guest and employee flow in dining and gaming areas.
Control vehicle and pedestrian traffic in valet and parking areas.
Document injuries and investigate first reports.
Assist in transporting money, chips, and markers.
Identify and report safety hazards.
