Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) – Division of Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities (EIPD) seeks a Casework Associate I (S). You will serve as the primary intake and case management hub for WorkSource West referrals, guiding clients through assessment, training and placement into programs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of casework management and processes.
• Knowledge and experience working with persons with disabilities.
• Demonstrated experience working with the public and in groups.
• Valid driver’s license required for travel to perform job duties

Responsibilities

• Gather and manage all consumers' records required to assist in individual case decisions.
• Manage orientation for all new consumers served on the assigned caseload.
• Record evidences-based documentation of work with consumers into the case management system.
• Provide monthly updates and recommendations during case staffing based on consumer performance.
• Serve as the main coordinator of all consumer information related to progress toward employment goals
