Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Case Manager 2 to direct and coordinate support services for participant households, including needs-based assessments, outreach, and program-wide service coordination. The role focuses on helping families achieve housing stability within a faith-based nonprofit setting.

You will apply Harm Reduction, Housing First principles, and mentoring to teammates while documenting client interactions. A Colorado driver’s license and travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Colorado driver’s license and state-mandated automobile insurance.
• Personal vehicle for work travel with mileage reimbursement.
• Must complete credentialing within 12 weeks of hire.
• SOAR Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to program clients.
• Identify and address participant needs and barriers to housing stability.
• Understand and implement programs per funder standards.
• Conduct community outreach to identify eligible households.
• Mentor team members and share best practices.
• Document all client interactions and eligibility data.
