Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is hiring a Housing Case Manager to provide direct services and housing support at the VOAC Navigation Center in Lakewood. The role applies Housing Focused and Trauma-Informed Care to help participants secure and maintain housing.

You will conduct needs-based assessments, coordinate with landlords and service providers, document in HMIS and Service Point, and promote safety and crisis response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or related field.
• At least one year working with people experiencing homelessness.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish.
• Good organizational and planning skills; works well as part of a team.
• Colorado driver’s license and auto insurance; reliable vehicle.
• Background checks within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs-based assessments and intake for housing services.
• Assist participants in securing and maintaining housing.
• Coordinate with community providers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and monitor housing-focused services to promote stability.
• Maintain records in Service Point and HMIS; ensure data quality.
• Promote safety and crisis de-escalation and provide mentorship.
