Shamrock Trading Corporation is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to prospect, qualify carrier accounts across the United States and Canada. The role emphasizes building a strong carrier network, developing long-term relationships and maximizing profitability through proactive sales strategies.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with an outgoing, ambitious personality and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field.
• Proven success in a proactive sales environment.
• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Solicit prospective carriers to join our carrier network.
• Develop long‑term relationships with shippers and carriers.
• Learn the trucking industry by growing under‑performing client accounts, upselling opportunities and maximizing profitability.
• Build and manage an existing carrier network to ensure we meet the needs of shipping customers.
• Continually improve upon customer service skills, transit times and transportation costs.
• Coordinate logistics activity, including scheduling arrival dates and delivery appointments.
• Track and trace orders for each load in our system and complete all load‑related paperwork.
• Actively participate in transportation bids for current and prospective clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
