Job summary

Shamrock Trading Corporation, in collaboration with Ryan Transportation, seeks a Carrier Sales Representative in the United States and Canada. You will prospect carriers, develop relationships with shippers, and drive profitability by expanding a growing carrier network and optimizing logistics costs.

Qualifications

Experience in proactive sales environments.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Solicit prospective carriers to join the carrier network.
Develop long-term relationships with shippers and carriers.
Learn trucking industry by growing under-performing client accounts and maximizing profitability.
Build and manage an existing carrier network to meet shipping needs.
Improve customer service, transit times and transportation costs.
Coordinate logistics activities including scheduling arrivals and deliveries.
Track and trace orders and complete load-related paperwork.
Participate in transportation bids for clients.
