Shamrock Trading Corporation’s Ryan Transportation arm is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to expand our carrier network across the United States and Canada. The role focuses on prospecting, cold calling, and qualifying new carrier accounts with a proactive, results-driven mindset.

The successful candidate will build long-term relationships with shippers and carriers, Upsell opportunities and maximize profitability while coordinating logistics and maintaining high levels of service.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field.
• Demonstrated success in a proactive sales environment.
• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Solicit prospective carriers to join our carrier network.
• Develop long-term relationships with shippers and carriers.
• Grow under-performing client accounts and upsell opportunities.
• Build and manage a carrier network to meet shipping needs.
• Improve customer service, transit times and costs.
• Coordinate logistics scheduling and appointments.
• Track and trace loads and complete related paperwork.
• Participate in transportation bids for clients.
