Shamrock Trading Corporation, headquartered with multiple U.S. offices, seeks a Carrier Sales Representative to grow our carrier network across the United States and Canada.

This role focuses on prospecting, cold calling and qualifying new carrier accounts, building lasting relationships with shippers and carriers. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with an outgoing, ambitious personality and strong negotiation and communication skills, ready to thrive in a fast-paced transportation

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field.
• Demonstrated success in a proactive sales environment.
• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Solicit prospective carriers to join our carrier network.
• Develop long-term relationships with shippers and carriers.
• Learn the trucking industry by growing under-performing client accounts, upselling opportunities and maximizing profitability.
• Build and manage an existing carrier network to ensure we meet the needs of shipping customers.
• Continually improve upon customer service skills, transit times and transportation costs.
• Coordinate logistics activity, including scheduling arrival dates and delivery appointments.
• Track and trace orders for each load in our system and complete all load-related paperwork.
• Actively participate in transportation bids for current and prospective clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
