Shamrock Trading Corporation is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to grow and manage our carrier network across the United States and Canada. You will prospect, call, and qualify new carrier accounts while building strong relationships with shippers and carriers.

The ideal candidate has a proactive sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive profitability by expanding under-performing client accounts and coordinating efficient logistics.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field preferred.

Aufgaben

• Solicit prospective carriers to join our carrier network.
• Develop long-term relationships with shippers and carriers.
• Learn the trucking industry by growing under-performing client accounts, upselling opportunities and maximizing profitability.
• Build and manage an existing carrier network to ensure we meet the needs of shipping customers.
• Continually improve upon customer service skills, transit times and transportation costs.
• Coordinate logistics activity, including scheduling arrival dates and delivery appointments.
• Track and trace orders for each load in our system and complete all load-related paperwork.
• Actively participate in transportation bids for current and prospective clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
