Shamrock Trading Corporation, in partnership with Ryan Transportation, is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to grow our carrier network across the U.S. and Canada.

You’ll prospect, cold-call and qualify new carrier accounts while building lasting relationships with shippers and carriers. The ideal candidate has a proactive sales background, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to manage deadlines and data entry in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated success in a proactive sales environment.
• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Solicit prospective carriers to join our carrier network.
• Develop long-term relationships with shippers and carriers.
• Learn the trucking industry by growing under-performing client accounts, upselling opportunities and maximizing profitability.
• Build and manage an existing carrier network to ensure we meet the needs of shipping customers.
• Continually improve upon customer service skills, transit times and transportation costs.
• Coordinate logistics activity, including scheduling arrival dates and delivery appointments.
• Track and trace orders for each load in our system and complete all load-related paperwork.
• Actively participate in transportation bids for current and prospective clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
