Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding our construction crews and offering competitive pay and bonuses. Earn $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, paid weekly, with a $2,000 first-year bonus and $500 quarterly bonus in the first year.

Benefits include ESOP, life insurance, training bonus, safety incentives, paid holidays/vacation/personal time, and bad weather pay. Position requires lifting up to 100 lbs, travel up to 15% (overnight possible), and 9–10 hour days during peak season.

Qualifications

• Construction experience in post-frame, carpentry or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Able to work 9-10 hours during peak season.
• Ability to lift 50–100 pounds.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% with possible overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings’ safety and construction procedures, methods, and standards.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Frame walls and roof structures, install windows/doors, install siding and roofing materials.
• Work with crew to maintain a safe, organized, productive, respectful work environment.
