Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking crew members to join our post-frame construction teams. You will learn and apply our safety and construction standards while reading plans and building according to specifications.

The role offers hourly pay from $23 to $25, weekly pay, and a 15% travel requirement during peak seasons; new hires may earn a $2,000 first-year bonus plus $500 quarterly bonuses in the first year.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction and framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Must be able to work long hours during peak season.
• Capable of following directions and reading plans.
• Produce quality work safely and efficiently.
• Agree to safety processes and procedures.
• Operate construction tools safely and properly.
• Operate safety equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lb, up to 100 lb occasionally.
• Able to work in demanding environments at heights up to 40 ft.
• Travel up to 15%; overnight travel possible.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings safely.
• Execute tasks such as digging, footing installation, framing, and siding/roof work.
• Collaborate with crew to maintain a safe, productive environment.
