Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews and employee-owned workforce nationwide. The role offers $22.00–$24.00 per hour with weekly pay and performance bonuses. Incentives include a $2,000 first-year bonus and a $500 quarterly bonus during the first year.

Under foreman guidance, you will learn safety procedures, read plans, operate tools, and perform tasks from footing digging to framing, siding, and roofing. Travel up to 20% and heights up to 40 feet are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction (post-frame), carpentry or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• Position requires 20% travel, including possible overnight trips.
• Heavy lifting up to 100 lb and heights up to 40 ft.
• Read and follow construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures, methods and standards.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Use various tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Perform tasks such as digging footings, framing walls/roofs, installing doors, windows, siding and roofing.
• Collaborate with crew to maintain a safe, productive work environment.
