Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding our construction crews and employee owners, offering weekly pay and a strong bonus program. New crew members receive a $500 quarterly bonus during the first year, plus an initial $2,000 bonus within the first year.

Position involves 40% travel, 9–10 hour days during peak season, and work on post-frame construction with opportunities for ESOP participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Building construction (post-frame), carpentry or framing experience preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Available to work 9-10 hours during peak construction season.
• Ability to take direction and produce quality work.
• Willingness to comply with safety processes and procedures.
• Willingness to maintain and operate construction tools in a safe manner.
• Ability to operate specialized safety equipment efficiently.
• Standard weight lifting requirements - 50 pounds, up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Capable of working at heights up to 40 feet.
• Travel up to 40% including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Use tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Framing walls and roof structures; install windows and doors; install various siding and roofing materials.
• Collaborate with crew to maintain a safe, productive work environment.
