Qualifications

• Building construction/post-frame experience preferred (on the job or in school).
• Willingness to complete a training program.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Available to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Ability to take directions and produce quality work.
• Willingness to maintain and operate construction tools safely.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds and working at heights up to 40 feet.
• This position requires 20% travel including potential overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Use tools and equipment to construct buildings.
• Dig and install footings; frame walls and roofs; install windows, doors, siding and roofing materials.
• Collaborate with crew to maintain a safe, organized work environment.
