Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking construction crew members to join our team and become employee owners. Earn $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, with weekly pay.

New crew members receive a $500 quarterly bonus during the first year, plus an additional $2000 bonus in the first year. This position involves travel up to 20% and physical work at heights up to 40 feet. Under supervision of the crew foreman, you will learn safety procedures, read plans, and construct buildings with various materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction (post-frame), carpentry, or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Able to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Able to take direction and produce quality work.
• Commitment to safety procedures and proper tool operation.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds and working at heights up to 40 feet.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% including overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures, standards.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Use tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Frame walls and roof structures, install windows and doors, and apply siding and roofing materials.
• Collaborate with crew to maintain a safe, organized and respectful work environment.
