Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews and offering paths to employee ownership through our ESOP. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, with weekly pay, a $2,000 first-year bonus, and a $500 quarterly retention bonus during the first year.

This position requires travel up to 30% of the time and physical work up to 100 pounds. Under your crew foreman's guidance you will learn safety and construction procedures, read and follow plans, use various tools, and build

Qualifications

• Experience in post-frame building or carpentry preferred, on the job or in school.
• Willingness to participate in a training program.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction standards.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Use tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Perform tasks like digging footings, framing, doors, windows, siding and roofing installations.
• Work with a team in a safe, organized environment and show respect to coworkers.
