Job summary

Companions & Homemakers, Inc. is hiring for non-medical home care professionals to support clients across Connecticut. You will follow individualized care plans, transport to appointments, assist with daily tasks, and provide companionship in a compassionate environment.

Flexible scheduling includes weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in shifts. Benefits include PTO, holiday pay, and 401(k). Join a team dedicated to improving seniors’ quality of life across CT.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a caregiver or in related roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence with companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day
