Companions & Homemakers, Inc. is hiring in Connecticut for non-medical home care roles across multiple service areas.

We offer flexible schedules including weekdays, weekends, overnights and live-in shifts, with competitive hourly pay and referral bonuses. Join a team that provides compassionate care, transports clients to activities, assists with daily tasks, and supports clients with companionship and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
• Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence - offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care

What You'll Need

• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Open availability preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus
