Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring caregivers in Connecticut with flexible shifts across multiple service areas. You will provide non-medical home care following each client’s Plan of Care, including weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in assignments.

We offer competitive hourly pay with direct deposit, PTO, holiday pay, medical/dental coverage, 401(k), and a referral bonus. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, a valid driver’s license, and a genuine desire to support seniors at home.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or companion is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence - offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
