Job summary

Companions & Homemakers, Inc. is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care across Connecticut. You’ll follow individualized care plans, transport clients, and assist with daily activities while delivering companionship and support.

We offer flexible shifts, including weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in options, along with competitive hourly pay and benefits. Join a team committed to enhancing the lives of seniors and families we serve.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence - offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
