Job summary

Companions & Homemakers, Inc. is hiring experienced caregivers to provide non-medical home care across Connecticut. We offer flexible weekday and weekend shifts, overnights, and live-in options with competitive hourly pay and referral bonuses.

You’ll follow each client’s Plan of Care, provide companionship, help with daily activities, transport, light housekeeping, meals, and personal care as needed. Required: High School Diploma or GED, valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, willingness

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities

• Be a steady, caring presence - offering companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed
