Job summary

Companions & Homemakers, Inc. is hiring caregivers in Connecticut to provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care. You will transport clients to appointments, assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and groceries.

We offer flexible shifts (Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights, Live-In), competitive hourly pay, and benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), paid time off, and referral bonuses. A High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in non-medical home care or caregiving settings.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence - offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
• Be a steady, caring presence - offering companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Open availability preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus
