Job summary

Companions & Homemakers, Inc. is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate non-medical home care across Connecticut. Flexible shifts include weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in options.

Earn a competitive hourly rate and referral bonuses while delivering personalized care and companionship. Position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with insurance and a reliable vehicle, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Open availability preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
• Be a steady, caring presence - offering companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed

Your Day-to-Day
