Job summary

Companions & Homemakers, Inc. in Connecticut is hiring compassionate caregivers to join our team across multiple service areas. We offer flexible schedules including weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in shifts, with competitive hourly pay and referral bonuses.

A valid driver's license and background check are required. You will provide non-medical home care, transport clients, assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship, while following each client’s Plan of Care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (or reliable vehicle) are required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check is required.
• Open availability is preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client’s Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence with companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day
