Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring to provide compassionate non-medical home care across Connecticut. Join a dedicated team that supports seniors and individuals in need with individualized care plans and dependable companionship.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, transportation, light housekeeping, meal prep, and errands, while ensuring dignity and safety. Prior experience as a caregiver is a plus; flexible scheduling is available across weekdays, weekends, overnights,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence - offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
