Goodwill Industries Of The Gulf Coast Inc. is seeking a Career Navigator to prepare participants for employment and develop individualized career plans. The role requires managing intake, guiding access to services, and maintaining confidential participant records within a community-centered workforce development program.

The position emphasizes data entry, reporting, and collaboration with Career Specialists, with a focus on customer service and engaging local partners to expand program reach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree plus two years of closely related experience preferred.
• Five years of closely related experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Experience working with people with barriers to obtaining and maintaining employment preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct participant intake and guide access to services.
• Develop and update an Individual Career Plan (ICP) for each participant.
• Market the organization and program services in the community to recruit participants.
• Maintain consumer files with monthly review and updates.
• Accurately enter data into reporting systems and prepare required reports.
• Collaborate with Career Specialists and provide backup support as needed.
• Provide world-class customer service and effective communication with stakeholders.
