Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana seeks a Career Navigator to guide participants in developing and executing personalized Individual Career Plans, assess employability, barriers, and progress through face-to-face, virtual, or telephonic coaching.

You will collaborate with service providers, perform case management tasks, generate progress reports, and travel as needed to support site visits and program activities, using strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required; strong oral and written communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with social media apps.
• Must be ambulatory and able to clear OMV check.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized career plans (ICP) with participants.
• Assess immediate and long-term needs and barriers to success.
• Provide ongoing coaching via in-person, virtual, and phone sessions.
• Maintain case notes and ensure documentation aligns with grant requirements.
• Travel as needed to support participant services and site visits.
